What will the student learn in this class?

During this Autumn Design & Wine session, Stevie DiFrisco of DiFrisco Designs will dive into interiors and explore ways to ready your home for the upcoming holiday season. From space planning and giving your dining room or kitchen a boost with new lighting, furniture, wall décor or wall coverings to making a cozy living or guest room space suitable to accommodate company and more, Stevie will give her tips and tricks to revitalize your home for entertaining this year. Bring a photo (on your phone or printed out) of your indoor space and learn from the best! Wine & Design is perfect for attendees to learn about the latest trends in the design world while also having one-on-one mini-sessions with Stevie to develop a strategy on individual projects. Examples of projects to highlight with Stevie include: Interior Paint Color and Wall Covering Selections - Furniture Selection – Lighting – Artwork – Space Planning – Window Treatments – Accessorizing with Indoor Planters, Sculpture, Etc. ALL ticket sales for this event benefit the Sparta Train Station - a nonprofit organization!

Instructor will provide the following supplies:

Stevie will lead a brief presentation on interiors and will lend her expertise to your individual project during one-on-one consultations after the presentation. Light refreshments will be provided.

From choosing paint colors and window treatments to space planning, remodeling interiors and preparing a home for sale, Stevie is the go-to professional in the region who is now bringing her expertise to the Sparta Train Station in a new series of group consultations and themed design events. Stevie Di Frisco

Stevie DiFrisco uses design to create energy and change in residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces. Her design philosophy is influenced by Californian and Mediterranean styles. Raised in Southern California, DiFrisco studied at Antioch University in Santa Barbara and School of Leonardo Da’ Vinci in Florence Italy. Under the tutelage of Architect Peter Kavoian, whose focus on historical Italian and Spanish design is a major source of inspiration, DiFrisco has come into her own as a designer. She designed villas in Treviso and Padua, Italy. Traveling internationally for projects is an amazing side effect of her talented career. Stevie is currently working on residences in Madison & Sparta New Jersey along with Montecito & Ojai California. Her first completed hotel project in Santa Barbara,(2012) Hotel Indigo is the first contemporary art hotel gallery in Santa Barbara and will function as the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara within the hotels wall. Hotel Indigo was voted in the top 10 BEST PLACES to Stay at in California in SUNSET magazine 2014, among other recognitions. Stevie has been in numerous publications ranging from Independent, to larger scale publications such as Home & Garden.
