Class Description

What will the student learn in this class?

The student will learn techniques and information on how to take a photo reference, and from that, create a realistic graphite pencil drawing. They will learn how to create a line drawing from a photo, how to transfer line drawing to work surface. Students will then learn how to create realism through value development, texture, blending and erasing. They will also learn how to develop artistic observation so they can draw what they see, which is the key to drawing!

Instructor will provide the following supplies:

All supplies will be provided for the week and available to take home.

Students must bring the following supplies:

No need to bring anything, but feel free to bring any supplies you might have.

Full Description:

The goal of these classes is to provide a relaxed environment where the drawing process is broken down into simpler steps. Individual attention is provided to ensure the student is confident with information demonstrated in the class.
